Introduction to French Bulldogs
French bulldogs or Frenchies are the ideal toy dogs and companion
dogs. They are playful breeds and are easy to take care. The only
significant thing about them is that they need utmost human attention.
They have to be around people most of the time because they are social
creatures. They are also generally good around other dogs but can
sometimes become very aggressive and hostile.
Frenchies are practically bulldogs but they only differ in size and some
other minor characteristics from other dogs of their kind. Theycan grow
to approximately as tall as twelve inches and can weigh between nineteen
to twenty eight pounds depending on their class. The French bulldog has
a dwarf mastiff look with small, broad shoulders, stout neck, and
compact muscles. Their coats are shiny and short. They vary in colors
from black, brindle, white, fawn, and chocolate brown. They also
manifest coat patterns or markings of any of the mentioned hair colors.
Its head has an interesting shape. It also has bat ears that stand erect
with its rounded tips and broad bases that give it a distinct look.
French bulldogs should be given proper care because they are fragile
creatures. Taking care of them means dealing with their special health
considerations as well as proper grooming and feeding.
